This is a flowchart of Mission 3 and 8 combined, it is somewhat layed out as
an overview.
Details
Introduction
to the Residential District (10 min)
- Introduction to the Residential district art set. Within the first 5
minutes there will be a artistic awe moment that will take your breath away. "
Hiya, welcome to the Resi district!" It is day time, but there are
realistically placed streetlights and other light sources everywhere for when
it is night, of course they are all off for now.
- BuildingA is being searched through by troopers. They open doors and then
scan through the apartment. Multiple dog units with their owner patrol around
to provide back-up for the searchers. Certain stairs are broken so that Hayden
has to navigate all 3 floors to reach the only exit, after leaving the
building at a roof patio, he will notice an exit down the street that is
blocked by stationary guns.

The Stationary Gun (20
min)
- First Stationary Gun gameplay scenario, you will see one or two technocite
civilians running towards/away from you (depending on default beheavier). On
the way they will cross the firing line of a Stationary Gun which opens fire
and kills them. The Stationary Gun is covering the entrance to an alley way.
There is also a big hole in the ground infront of the Stationary Gun, with
some pipes exposed.
- You traverse the street and might find BuildingB which holds some cash
reward and ammo. Near BuildingC the road is blocked by the inferon gas. Hayden
is unable to walk through the gas, therefor the only way to go is into
BuildingC. Here you navigate through the house to the 3rd floor.
- On the 3rd floor the player will get ambushed. Troopers will kick open a
door on your left side when you traverse through a hallway. After beating them
and finding some money the player will go down a different flight of stairs.
- Interegation gameplay scenario. You come upon a big open area, two or
three civilians are being rounded up by soldiers. Ethic scenario, you can
choose to help them or not. One of the bodies laying around is infected by
technocytes.
- The player will enter BuildingD. The first hallway leads to a drop down
into the basement. Here you find an entrance to the Black Market.
- Ignite the gass gameplay scenario. From the basement a hallway leads to
the Natural gas valve that is closed off. You ignite the gas infront of the
stationary guns which starts a big fire. This blocks the view of the
stationary guns.
- Continuing through BuildingD you arrive at an Inferon gas machine, when
turned off you notice that the alley way outside the window is no longer
blocked by the gas. By using a one way fire escape you get back outside and
exit through the alley.

Gas ring around
the hospital (10 min)
- After backtracking and then navigating through BuildingE the player will
come upon a street that is blocked by multiple gas machines guarded by
troopers. The goal is to enter BuildingG and from the higher position take out
the first gas generator, then backtrack and enter Building F.
- While you enter Building F Troopers enter it from the other side, you
notice there are bodies laying around near the Troopers. After a second or two
one gets up and attacks the troopers, they panic and first kill the Technocyte
and then the Trooper that was attacked. The player now leaves Building F and
disables the second inferon gas generator.
- Now the road is cleared and the player can kill the Troopers and continue,
a helicopter will come in to drop off some re-inforcements.
Plaza
Discription: There is an open canal and you can see one side of the hospital.
The troopers were making a circle of gas around it. The hostipal shows heavy
signs of infestation. There is an electrical fense around the hospital, but it
is controlled from within.

Colossus Intermezzo
(25 min)
The sky clears up, rain stops and the sun slowly breaks through. The pace
of the level slows down here. There are longer walking areas, and less fighting.
Bird sounds come up, and more sweeping music. Here and there you might see a big
shadow or shape that players can later on recognise as the shape of the
Colossus. There are sporradic fighting encounters.
- Beat the first TC Trooper.
One of the destructions caused by the
Colossus moving through is a broken fountain. The squar it was decorating is
now half flooded. Near the edge of the water pool you see a a weird creature,
looking at its own reflection in the water. It is a Technocyte Trooper, the
moment he becomes aware of Hayden's presence he jumps up to one of the walls
and does his ranged attack, a duel ensues.
- The street consists out of mulitple height levels. The troopers are on the
higher one. If Hayden gets too close to the railings the troopers might hop
over the railing and land next to Hayden to engage in close combat.
- Further on you notice a car stuck in a wall, as if it was thrown there by
something ... or someone.
- You walk through the park, you notice it looks well kept, except there are
signs of destruction on specific things. A statue is broken, a tree is ripped
from the ground and laying on the path.
- While walking through a small alley you see a fensed off garden. You
notice a technocyte dog that is stuck inside a fensed off barier. There is a
generator right there so you can turn it on to fry the dog. The howling of the
dog warns two more, but they use exits to attack you. One through a door, a
window and a whole in the fense.
- Near the park is a house that is being surrounded by Troopers. Technocytes
were detected and gas grenades are being fired into the house to smoke them
out or destroy them.
- A couple guards are on patrol, one wistles but the dog that comes is
actually a TC dog, they fight and the guards win.

Gas
ring around the hospital: part 2 (20 min)
- Cut scene Nadia. Colossus boss smashes her into a building, she talks to
you.
- After the cut scene ends, the player will move further. The street and
small alley way are blocked by Inferon gas, and the machine is inside Building
H. There is a heavy trooper pressence on the first floor, but they seem in
chaos. There is a lot of damage in the hallways and the stairs are broken on
the first floor. Clearly the Collosus used this way as his escape. The player
will kill the Troopers and then climb up some boxes and crates to the second
level.
- After turning of the Inferon gas generator on the second floor the player
can backtrack to the streets or continue on to the third floor and navigate
the ledges along the building towards Building I. The troopers on the street
seem less in number and stand in small groups. There are many gas machines
around the hospital that block the road.
- Gameplay scenario: Last Stand. The collosus jumped off Building I and
caused a crater in the street. Now it is used by a squad of troopers who were
assigned to guard the side entrance to the hospital. They are continously
attacked by technocytes. The troopers are busy setting up more inferon gas
generators, but you can interfene. Goal: Dispatch of the last Troopers.

Last
steps towards the Colossus battle (10 min)
- Dodge the Gun fire. After beating up the Troopers and their attackers you
continue on your way. You notice the Collosus, standing on the road blocking
the fire coming from a stationary gun with his Shield-arm, this way providing
save passage to other technocytes that rush to attack you. The collosus then
moves out of the fire line and runs away. You beat the technocytes and then
move from cover to cover to avoid the stationary gun fire.
- You navigate the last streets and houses. There is a heavy pressence of
Technocyte dogs and some Technocyte civilians.
- You infiltrate the Technocyte dog liar by entering Building J and crossing
over the street to Building K. Building K touches the city wall. They broke
through the wall and the path leads to a grave tomb outside the city wall. You
slide down a hallway and cannot return.

Colossus boss fight
(15 min)
- Gameplay Scenario: Chain shooting. You are stuck in a circulair trench.
There are tombs on the outer circle and one middle room. The middle room has a
platform that could be lowered, but is held up by security ropes. You walk
around the circle shooting the cables to release the platform. Technocyte dogs
keep falling in the trench from above and attack you.
- You escaped the trench and fight your way through the graveyard towards
the church. Your opponents are Technocyte dogs and Civilians. You notice
the many statues placed around, the sun is breaking through the clouds, the
rain has stopped ones again.
- Colossus fight in the church. You drop down through the window. The
door is blocked and you climb onto a shed to enter through a window. When you
look into the
church you see the Colossus kneeling on the floor in
a spot of sunlight that comes through the ceiling.
- Gameplay Scenario: Introduction to Collosus evolution after you beat the
boss.
- Colossus evolution tutorial while playing. First part is the escape from
the church, you have to open up the way down into the catacombs.
